In order to take the Written Exam, the candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

• Must be a licensed dentist for a minimum of four years prior to applying for the exam (proof of licensure required). General Practice Residencies are equivalent to employment years.
• Must be a current Member in good standing of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.
• Must have attended one Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics Annual Meeting in the last two years prior to taking the exam. This can include the meeting at which the exam is taken.
• Must have attained at least 300 hours of approved continuing education (proof required).
• Must complete the online application and pay the $495 examination fee.
